ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Grayson. My friends call me gray.
I’ve been writing songs since I was a kid, chasing the way music connects with people and brings friends together. After releasing my first single, a live recording of a song called October ambiguously titled October (Live), I realized that I really enjoyed putting out my songs for the world and a few people seemed to enjoy listening to them, too. I spent 2018 playing some concerts and released another single. In the latter half of 2018, I began planning for an album while opening for other artists like Jordy Searcy, THE WLDLFE, The Gray Havens and Chris Renzema. My debut album H(our)s was released on the 29th of October, and was carefully crafted by my friends and I. My future music has remained that way, and I'll be dropping new songs as we create them.

SUNSHINE
I wrote this song three summers ago on the beaches of Emerald Isle, North Carolina and recorded it live in the Blue Ridge Mountains. That was the summer I started dating my best friend. This song was meant to reflect how she brought light to everything around her...even me. One of my best friends, Daniel Carrai, created this live video and it captures the raw emotion I've felt towards her since the very beginning.
